Every year, community rehabilitation programs and mental health services, like those provided at Tasks Unlimited, face legislation that jeopardizes our ability to help people with serious and persistent mental illness. In addition, the stigma of mental illness comes through in ongoing local laws and covenants barring places like a Fairweather Lodge being set-up in communities across the state. Be a voice for those who live with mental illness and help break down the barriers they face everyday, at every level.

Email, call, write, or visit your elected officials at any level and tell them that funding mental health services needs to be a priority even in tight budget situations. While your at it, feel free to share the amazing difference we are making at Tasks Unlimited!
